This is a positive hygiene practice that may contribute to preventing candidiasis. Financial difficulties and beliefs on the side effects of antifungal drugs are challenges respondents faced in the treatment of candidiasis. There is a recommendation that health tutors should implement targeted educational programs to address the identified knowledge gaps. These initiatives should focus on risk factors, prevention strategies, and the importance of consistent adherence to preventive measures. Also, health tutors should conduct campus-wide awareness campaigns to promote candidiasis prevention and its importance. Utilize various channels, such as posters, workshops, and seminars, to reach as many students as possible.
